Let Your Intuition Guide You Through Life

by Estcott Paul on December 27, 2011

Life is just a range of crossroads; at each, we have to choose between different paths; the decision can be small or big, but in both cases it shapes the trajectory of our lives. The most decisions we make in adulthood; this is the time when we are supposed to know what we want from our lives, we have full judgment and control over our actions. But how we base our choices is a different mechanism for any of us; some are rational and others sensitive.  We think for solutions to our problems in different ways; I many times heard people saying they are rational and facts are just facts, there is no more than reasoning; but I believe each of us is born with an intuitive capacity that guides us through life.  Probably most of the people are not aware that they can listen to their inner reasoning and so they leave their intrinsic ability in a latent mood. More exactly intuition is like an additional sense which can grow and develop by age; it is that feeling when you grasp the point, the thing, the importance of something without being able to explain it by words, you know this is the right way and you don’t need to explain it.

Having a good intuition it means you are inclined to make better decisions in your life: who’s friend and who’s foe, what job suits you, how to deal with stress, frustration and deception and even to choose your lifetime partner. Though is not a concrete skill you can use at your wish but is rather the voice within you which might give you a help hand exactly when you need it mostly. Maybe the intuition sharpens through experience, as we go through life we learn and by learning we get the wisdom of the life.  To learn about intuition we have to remember the ancient wisdom from the Delphic oracle “Know yourself”.  Businessmen wish to have a good intuition; having the “feeling” to bid the deal, to penetrate partners and customers, it can lead to a huge success; it’s quite rare though and many say this is inheritedthrough genes only. Headhunters follow the same type of employee; these kinds of people who are intuitive by nature they make good leaders and bring thus good results.  Not to be mixed with charisma, though they are good friends; charisma is having charm while intuition is having sharp insights.

I think intuition is more an extra sensory capacity and scientistsclaim each of us have such kind of capability but again if is not equally shared because was not developed and exercised; this doesn’t mean some of us have done every day 10 minutes concentration or reflection exercises but is the very life we go through that shapes our abilities, is the people we meet and things we do that widens our perspectives plus the predispositions we are subject to involuntarily. I think to want to have intuition is to want to become wiser; hence agree with the wisest philosopher Socrates and accept “you know nothing except the fact of your ignorance” and never stop learning, sharpen your mind and set your spirit free to better understand and to become able to feel what before it couldn’t.

Horoscopes has also a very important role when it comes to intuition.
