The answer to this problem is economics 101. Obama skipped this course. This is a supply and demand problem. Tort reform will address the supply side of the equation. Tort reform will protect healthcare professionals and result in more access and lower costs. It will also eliminate unnecessary tests and treatments. Eliminating free emergency room healthcare to illegal aliens will address the demand side of this issue. How much do 25 million illegal aliens effect costs for the rest of us?

How will we pay for this? Easy.
Getting rid of all the for-profit insurance companies will save billions. No profit should be in health care. Business owners won’t have health insurance expenses on their income statements. We’ll cut spending in the military budget as well as getting out of our senseless wars. Yes, the president’s plan is to give a public option, which is acceptable, but I have a feeling it will be so popular that the insurance companies will go away. And good riddance!
