Natural Skin Care Creams. Why Should You Use Them?
Hmm, why would you use a natural skin care cream? It seems that the whole world is going natural, in so many areas, but are there good reasons to use a skin care product that is natural?
Last question first. What does natural mean when you use it in a skin care context? There is no really one single answer. No clear definition of what natural skin care really is. Despite the fact that there are many natural anti aging skin care creams and other products on the market.
What is the difference between a natural skin care product, a botanical skin care product, an organic skin care product and a herbal skin care product? Is there any difference?
There is no single definition of natural when applied to skin care products, but despite this it still has a meaning. Just not a formalized meaning.
So I tend to use my own definition when asked this question. But to formulate your own definition I need to first consider why people would want to use a natural skin care product. Why would they buy these over “ordinary” mainstream skin care products?
It’s simple. Mainstream regular products that you usually see everywhere are made up on many manufactured chemical ingredients. You won’t find them in a tree or a fruit or a nut, you may not find them in nature at all. They are often a synthetic chemical that some scientist has found performs a certain function.
And often these synthetic chemicals are very cheap to make.
Here’s one to look at. There is a class of chemicals called Parabens that are used extensively in many products as preservatives. They are an extremely cheap preservative, but some consider that long term use of products containing Parabens could lead to cancer.
There are many chemical ingredients (and petrochemical ingredients) used in skin care products that are considered potentially dangerous. That’s the reason why so many people are now turning to “natural” skin care products.
It’s surprising just how many people are now turning to more “natural” or “organic” or “herbal” or “botanical” skin care products because they are scared of potential risks from use of products with strange chemical ingredients.
So from this information I can make my own definition. I consider a natural skin care product to be one which only uses ingredients that are found naturally somewhere and also which are known to be safe for human use. And there’s another part to the definition.
The product has to work really well too, there’s no point in buying a skin care product comprised of natural ingredients that doesn’t do anything, (despite the fact that many mainstream products often do very little).
In truth the best natural skin care products actually work way better than the mainstream skin care products.
So although there is no one formal definition of what natural means you can still see that there is a meaning for most people. There are good reasons to use natural skin care creams. Very good reasons.
The best are safer to use than mainstream products. The very best are both safer to use and work better than mainstream products.
But there’s one brand that stands out as the best natural skin care cream on the market. Visit my website to find out which one.
