Getting the most out of Jim Humble's Miracle Mineral Supplement requires knowledge of what it does, what it's side effects are, and things to take to minimize their impact on you. There's more to it that taking the supplement and hoping for a miracle; the supplement system is harsh, and you need to be proactive on taking things that will allow you to weather the protocol's full effects and get the maximum benefits.
As many MMS participants are now aware that nausea is often experienced, its important to discuss further as to why this is the case, and what conditions may preclude you from using this substance. This can be especially an issue with people who suffer from advanced cancer and other long term pathologies. With this in mind it is generally recommended that a pre cleanse using a milder cleansing agent than MMS to sanitize and remove the microbe loading from the bowel before beginning the use of chlorine dioxide. If an individual does have a chronic long term pathology, then when it comes time to use Jim Humbles protocol with MMS the experience will be much less traumatic.
Its often seen that individuals with advanced long term degenerative conditions are often seen to become disturbingly weak due to pathogenic die-off. Guess what, its becoming more apparent that this lassitude and fatigue is often due to acute deficiencies driven by the mechanics of the MMS itself! For example, since chlorine dioxide is a powerful oxidizer, this compound actively consumes antioxidants within the body. One of the major antioxidants within the body is glutathione, and a low level of this will leave someone feeling very fatigued and run down " guess what, strong oxidizers will strip the body of glutathione. For this reason, it would be wise to supplement with at least 1 " 2 grams of N-Acetyl Cysteine each day to stimulate the production of the very much needed glutathione molecule.
While the side effects are unpleasant " nausea, diarrhea, or vomiting, occasionally bloody stools, it's important to remain on the MMS program for the full treatment; you're clearing your body out of lots of pathogens that it's grown accustomed to, and when you're doing that, your body will protest a lot. Mitigating the side effects with other supplements can help considerably; 1-2 grams of ascorbic acid is one way, as is taking extract of ginger root or the B6 vitamin complex. Using acupressure techniques for fighting nausea, like squeezing a point 20-30 mm under the wrist on the center of the forearm can also help.
Another observation based upon many who have undertaken this protocol is to find a method of cleaning or evacuating the bowels after the nausea is experienced. There are different ways in which to achieve this, and a colonic or an enema is usually the gentlest way to achieve this. If by chance the individual may be suffering from a bowel pathology such as cancer or perhaps an IBS condition, it has also been found that by including a dilute mix of activated MMS into the solution to be administered into the water going into the bowel can be a very powerful detoxifying adjunct to the MMS cleanse.
MMS is also documented to have an impact on arterial sclerosis " but only if the full protocol is followed. You want to make sure that you take it slowly, and build up to taking the MMS regimen by taking mega doses of vitamin C (10 grams or more, divided throughout the day into roughly four or five parts) to improve the elasticity of your arteries. You wouldn't want any of the plaques that the MMS is shaking loose to get caught in an artery and trigger an embolism. This regimen of vitamin C should be taken for at least two months before beginning the protocol. You may also want to take MSM, N-Acetoglucosamine and copper salicylate for the same effects.
Getting healthy again requires cooperation from all quarters, and while the MMS protocol is a powerful tool, it's not the only one. You'll need to use common sense, talk to your doctor, and take all of the steps slowly and gradually. It's taken you a while to lose your health, getting it back will also take some time as well.
